HCD Named Business of the Year


High Country Disposal was named Business of the Year at the 2011 Redmond Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet.

High Country Disposal is a family owned business and prides itself in being the local experts in waste management, recycling, and hauling services in Central Oregon for over 60 years. Commercial Service Reviews

High Country Disposal offers their commercial customers free on site waste audits. High Country Disposal realizes that the amount and type of material a business discards changes over time and new recycling opportunities may arise. The purpose of the waste audit is to help the customer determine the proper level of service that best addresses their needs.

Scholarship Opportunites




High Country Disposal offers two $1000 scholarships to local high school school seniors in our community. Eligible high schools include: Redmond High School and Sisters High School.

Seniors planning to attend an accredited trade school, college, university or community college as full-time students for the fall term of 2012 are encouraged to apply. Contact Redmond or Sisters High School for criteria and applications. Application deadline is April 13, 2012. Please return all applications to the high schools, they will not be accepted at the High Country Disposal office.

Carts Curbside by 6:00 a.m.

To help High Country Disposal provide the best service possible customers are asked to, please have their carts out at the curb by 6:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m. for the City of Sisters on their collection day. Pick up times for collection may vary due to changes in routing schedules. This will help ensure that your garbage & recycling is collected. Thank you for your help.
