Altrec.com/GreatOutdoors.com in Redmond and BendSurgeryCenter were among the winners of the High Country Disposal and Bend Garbage & Recycling Commercial “Recycler of the Year” awards for their efforts in 2008.Nominated by recycling route drivers from High Country Disposal and Bend Garbage & Recycling, the winners are recognized for their recycling efforts.

In 1999, The Bailey and Crownover Family purchased High Country Disposal located in Redmond. They have grown to 27 employees. The Company has expanded curbside recycling services and introduced curbside yard debris recycling within the city limits.
High Country Disposal services the communities of Redmond, Terrebonne, Sisters, Black Butte Ranch and Camp Sherman. HCD offers residential and commercial garbage & recycling, drop boxes, rent-a-bins, medical waste collection and document destruction.
Additionally, the ownership group owns and operates Bend Garbage & Recycling and Deschutes Recycling located at Knott Landfill.
